Help on HID's on the cheap

I bought the HID's on the cheep and I went for the guesto!

55w, mybe, for the extra bucks. Don't really have a way to tell what I got.

There were 2 decals in the box that I can stick on the ballast if I want to. No 35 0r 55 on either decal. this is with 2 pair of glasses.

I have a question.

is there a delay for the HID's to come on after the headlights are turned on? If so, is the delay more than an hour or two?

I put the hid thingies in where the regular bulbs fasten in and plugged the connector that was on the regular light into the hid wiring. It plugged in fine but neithter side came on. Do I need to run a power supply other than that to the hid stuff??

Someone please that has them let me know what the story is. Nothing came with this mess that gives a clue.

Thanks,
Keith

You may have to reverse the polarity of the +/- on the wire that went to the stock bulbs.

+1

When I installed mine the didn't turn on either... flipped the connector plug over and voila. They don't snap in now so I may re-splice the male end eventually. I guess I can't complain for the price.
