gas problem?? anyone help??
i think my fuel pump is going bad, cant be sure though, it seems once i turn my car to the on position about 5 times in a row my fuel pump wont make a loud skreetch anymore, not only that my hesitation goes away, but i went to go fuel up and i opend my cap and alot of pressure got out, whent to drive the car and it was some real bad hesitation so i turned it off and repeated turning the key to on about 5 times, then the car ran good, anyone elese think this is my fuel pump??

I guess I'd try a new fuel filter first and see if it improves, might be clogged up..

The vent tube runs into the centre top of the canister and could blocked. Remove this hose and the tank filler cap, and you should be able to blow through the hose if it is clear. There is a second hose to the side of the hose in the middle of the canister, which you should not be able to blow through. N.B. ----- If the vent system is blocked, and if the secondary inlet valve within the tank filler is not opening, fuel can not be drawn properly from the tank and a state of vacuum will exist. When you removed the filler cap, could air have been rushing in, rather than out? If so, this will be the answer to your fuel delivery problems.
