I was about to say No!, this does not qualify because it is not an upgrade.

However, the original poster looked for mods, not upgrades. Why anyone would pay up to $100 to fit an item that was less effective than the OEM filter is hard to figure.

also add transmission cooler, and power steering cooler (the later for the guys who track their cars)

Modification to the resistor was my prime suspect for the 1-2 flair that I started experiencing a bit after the mod was done, replacing the resistor with a new OEM spec one fixed the problem.

What was the ohm reading on your replacement resistor?

If you REALLY had a full line pressure, or a 50/50 power split you would know it, and remove it promptly!

I am not trying to harass you, I think the resistor that you installed was of too low a resistance.

Line pressure/torque split.

Line pressure is isolated from the centre clutch by an hydraulic control valve. The resistor has no effect/control, in respect of torque split. This is controlled independently by solenoid “C”, which varies pressure to the control valve, and this in turn varies pressure to the clutch.

Any perceived affect, could only result from more abrupt shifting between ratios, and could not be rightly associated with front/rear split.
