WTB: GREY Sunvisors

Mine (which I already replaced), have a weird condition going on with them... They appear to have "air in them" and have "blown up" (very much like when someone blows up a balloon)... This is causing the little mirror flap to not stay put when the visor is down, which inturn is causing my mirror light to come on and stay on... I normally put up a windshield sun blocker (you know the shiny things you put in the windshield when the car is parked) and when I come out to the car after work, the little flap is down... REALLY annoying...

Anyway, I am looking for a set of sunvisors that are GREY. Preferably from a 1995 SVX. They MUST NOT be "droopy". They must stay up against the ceiling in a tight manner. The ones I have now are nice and tight to the ceiling so there is no point in buying ones that won't stay up...

I can be reached in the following ways...

Thanks in advance

Let the air out!

I know it sounds simple, but have you tried just punching a tiny hole in them with a needle and letting the air out? I don't know if it would be a permanent fix, but it's worth a try.

If that doesn't help, maybe injecting (with a fine needle) some superglue inside the visor in several spots to hold the cover to the framework. Or (carefully) cutting open the front (the edge closest to the windshield) and using contact cement inside and then either hot-gluing or stitching the edge closed again. (It's hardly noticeable where it's been opened and resealed if you do it carefully.)

Just a couple of ideas to try to save you a buck.
