Side garnish body plastic trim removal, clip numbers, How does it come off?

You know that plastic on the sides of the SVX that is called "SIDE GARNISH". It is between the wheel wheels below the door.

How do I get that off the SVX?

I have been looking at the parts drawings and I can't figure it out.

I also want to get some extra clips or fasteners because I know these will most likely break when I take them off.

I found Toms write-up for the door garnish removal so I think i canget that off. I do have a question about it. After the nuts are removed from inside the door at the top of the plastic trim, what is holding the bottom of the plastic trim to the door???

Not sure about the peace between the wheel wells, but as for the plastic on the doors, I just removed mine last week. On the bottem it just wraps around a little... basicly it hooks on. When u remove them, after removing the bolts and clips pull down and out on the top, and it will come right off

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX Classic SVX
I believe there is double-sided cushion tape on it to hold it as well. It's #6 on the subaruparts diagram

Yeah, there are the screws the hole way along the bottom that fasten it to the bottom of the rocker, and there are plastic rivets and screws that fasten it in the front wheel well.

For the section going to the rear wheel, in addition to the bottom and wheel well fasteners, you also need to remove the interior trim between the rear seat and window to take off the nut that threads on the stud on the molding that comes through into the car.

That's all I can think of off hand, it's been about a year since I pulled one...

Thanks for the reply.

Fo rthe part under the door I think from what you say the bolts come off the bottom of the rockers and then the top lifts off the hanger.

Does naybody know if the rear part has to come off first to get the part under the door off?
