Ignition Problems

My car is constantly draining the battery, for some reason after I turn the vehicle off the ignition and dash lights come back on again in about 10 secs... I disconnected the ignition switch altogether and am still getting the problem which means there is a short someplace, anyone had this problem really need help with the since there a whole lotta wire to troubleshoot. Sometimes the car will stay running for a little bit before shutting off too...
Thanks in advance for the help

If the Main Relay is sometimes sticking and is not opening, this may cause what you report. According to my manuals, you will find it under the dash on the right hand side, alongside the fuel pump relay (it is the larger of the two). Someone else with US manuals will be able to confirm. Give it a sharp tap when the fault is present,

If no joy, advise as to exactly all the items which remain energised after you turn off the ignition key.
