4.44 is a GO!!!

Finally, picked up the car today.
After much haggling and minor fixes and stuff, it is mine again.
4.44's feel much better and positive. Car is much faster. I can feel the front tires scramble for grip and spin a hair when I take off hard. Power mode is AWESOME. Very satisfied overall with performance.

A couple questions-
I got home after leaving the shop and stopped at my friends for 30 min. and left and looked for leaks... nothing. Drove around for an hour. Got home and moved car after a couple hours, about a cup of ATF leaked, F$%#... But now its not leaking any and the fluid is still full and BRIGHT pink. What gives, I think they overfilled it and it pushed out the dipstick.

#2-
I have a slight hesitation at 1500-1800 rpm. Seems like it bogs a bit. Goes to 1500 slows revs and acceleration by half til 1800 and then it is fine, IDK...
Doesn't happen in Netural. Tried Manual 2nd gear, still happens. Any thoughts?

#3-
16 Blinky lights at startup, intermittent. No problems I have experienced, any thoughts. Will perform tests tomorrow

TCU test reports Solenoid A malfunction. What is with the Sol. Part in near the battery that I've heard of. Internet won't let me search "Solenoid A" b/c A is too short, whatever.

It still all good though.

I don't think its Trans. related as it happened with the old trans. please help, thanks

Xylene won't be necessary. Just use 10 Ozs. of sea foam in the oil, Use it per the directions in the gas, and then suck some through a vacuum line to clean the valves and intake and so on.

Get some STP throttle body cleaner too and do your throttle bodies.

well the xylene wasn't for hesitation, more for overall performance. But thanks for the input

--- gotta check and see where it is comming from... Oil doesn't just find a way out, there has to be a leak. check the connections of the cooler lines and make sure one doesn't just need to be tightened

--- Sounds like you have not done the ECU bead crush... also check that your TPS is working properly

--- I see it is a solenoid A. this is "usually" the trans resistor behind the battery. check to see if it is connected and then check it's resistance
I posted in the quote... Glad to hear all is working well otherwise

Octane booster more or less. I prefer to buy the NOS race formula booster. Safer and gives me 6 full octane numbers.(100 octane on Sunoco 94)

yeah, the next time I see an octane boosted pick up 6 points in the real world I will start buying it... but until then...

No offense to you but having experience with that stuff you will be lucky to see 2 points of 94

All I know is I hit the 14's with it and the label clearly said 60 points or 6 octane numbers. I get my stuff from 2 miles away at a little place called Summit Racing and I'm sure they have a little better stuff than autozone or advance sells or whatever most of you are use to.

OK, so after thunking to school without any sway bar bushing. I got home, and JUST finished up the install.

Note- the correct sized bushing helps, I bought ones that are 1mm smaller bore and bigger in all other aspects. Worked pretty well, squeezed 'em on. No play now!!!

Yeah I was thinking about the ECU crush mod as it happens in all gears, but not in neutral. So I don't think its the TPS, but I'll check. I'll do the crush mod tomorrow.

ATF fluid appears to be drips from PS system. Different shades (new tranny, old in the PS resevoir)
Budfreak is helping w/ Sol. A ***THANKS AGAIN***

Waiting for tomorrow night to do Seafoam and change. I am kinda worried about hydrolock, how hazardous is it really?

I get about 19-21 MPG average. I'm not the slowest driver around either.
