Need Help- Thanks

I have a 92 LSL where the door locks (auto/manual) do not work. I click the security switch and the light comes on. I have a remote starter which works (starts) but does not operate the doors, due to the locks not working? Does anybody have any idea where I could start to trouble shoot. I also have a new security module and would like to install it. How does the glove door come out. Thanks,

Do you have the stock SVX key remote and another remote to start the SVX? If so the battery may have died in the SVX remote. You can get a replacement from radio shack.
The glove box door is not easy to take out, lots of screws and strange body positions required and bending of plastic.

Thanks for the info. Remote has new battery, yet it doesn't seem to register with the security module. I don't have the stock key or remote. The remote I have was gotten off E-Bay. Maybe it would be easier to have another alarm installed to take care of this problem.
