Sorry to hear about that. It also makes me sick just looking at it.

I took a closer look at it today, and it doesn't seem to bad. I think all can be fixed, especially since I have all the parts to do so with. I think I have a slightly bent outer tie rod end causing the wheel to be turned to the right. The worst part will be the rear quarter due to the cutting and welding needed. I'll let you all know what I find out getting it estimated tomorrow.

Sorry to see this Jason, Friday 13rd really has some luck for some SVXers here.

Hope you can get your car fixed at a good price.

Thanks Ken. It will go in for an estimate tomorrow and we'll see what happens from there. If the frame is tweaked or if it's going to be an arm and leg, Then I'll swap over to my parts car. If it can be fixed for less than buying another one(Let's say 4 to 5K) then it will get fixed. We'll see.

Most likely the part that's bent causing the wheel to be out is the front lower control arm...the tie rods look bent but the control arm is the usual culpret...sometimes it doesn't "Look" bent, but if you replace it with a good one, I bet it fixes it.

Otherwise the front doesn't look too bad, the radiator support can be straightened, and the fend bumper headlight can all be bolted on...the rear quarter will be th eworst to fix, but is fixable...being the side with the gas cap makes it worse...but still fixable..

I went and got an estimate from maaco today for the best paint they had and labor(since I have all the parts) and it came out to 3,400 bucks. So I'll ask this again, Do we have any body guys out there that can do me better than that and help me save my SVX??

Sorry about your car, Jason.
It does look fixable.
subi-crosser is setting up his bodyshop as we speak.
He's had more body work experiance than most.
He is an old fart!
To go with his two new garages, Jerry just got a new plasma cutter so he could use that or his sawzall, or a jigsaw.
I know he has more than three welders.
AND he loves SVXi.
Rather than fix the hood you might want to go with a glass one.
No shipping when you are here.
Again sorry about your car.
More later.

I could get it fixed cheaper down here....but my body guy does it on the side, so it takes longer than if you have a shop do it...(sometimes he is really slow )

Worse case scenario is the pass. side frame rail got tweaked a little, But I'll have it straightened if it must be. If worse really comes to worse I have 2 other cars that I could swap all the parts with and bring one of them to life as Road Demon II. I'm just trying to keep my hopes high and take it as it comes I guess.
I looked at the pics... I thought you said it was WRECKED!! That looks like super-fish-ul FLESH wounds to ME!
Bring pieces-parts and you can wait on it!
