50mph Shudder Problem - Revisited

I have seen this discussed before a bit- but I didn't ever really see a clear course of action on this...

My car has been getting this "shake" at around 50mph... Above or below this range, there seems to be no real issues. I do NOT seem to have a problem going faster above 75mph as some people have stated. As far as I can tell there is not issue with power... Although, maybe I should get on the highway and try to drive fast- I guess I don't usually drive over 75 too much... ANYWAY.

I took my car into where I had recently bought a new set of tires, I thought maybe it had to do with balancing- but I got them re-balanced, and the issue seems to be unchanged.

SVX-Experts: Does this behavior sound to you like it IS in fact related to the transmission?

This might help you diagnose a little better.

For what its worth, i recently noticed that my shuddering issue has all but disappeared. No more shaking while TC is locking up ! Weird ! And no, i have not done anything to my tranny since i posted the message in the above link. Maybe if you are patient enough yours will go away, a few years from now !

huh. strange. wonder why it went away? It's funny how cars fix themselves sometimes. Thanks for the re-direct to the other thread, although I'm not sure I feel anymore solid on what is actually going on or how to address it... heh
