S4 joins the family

Since my brother's 300zx TT was lit on fire a couple months ago he has been driving his POS Jeep Grand Cherokee. He finally got his new car. A silver 2000 Audi S4. I am heading up to Lehigh tonight to go check it out.

Congrats Dan! Those S4's are one wicked ride...and the twin turbos sound awesome when they spool!!!

Looking forward to seeing the car at the drag meet!

Congrats on your bro.

Is that a 6 spd? How many miles?

PS: When your 5spd TT SVX's done, can beat the S4?

When I saw the title, I thought you meant one of these S4's.

Yeah its a 6speed. It is kinda funny listening to what he has to say about the AWD. He kept saying the car seemed to have a lot of roll and didn't really feel like the front end would stay planted.... I then had to enlighten him on the beauty of AWD UNDERSTEER Anyway he is getting used to the 6speed in a moderate fasion I think he should be able to master the car by the time the drag meet comes around, he will be racing along side of us SVXers. As for him beating the "tomstock" stage 2v3.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA that is too funeh!!! I may actually be able to beat him with "tomstock" Stage 2v2 when it makes its first apearance at the drag meet in November We will see how it goes

I hope the S4 has the revised tranny in it. My freinds S4 is really hard to get into 1st, 2nd, or reverse and you have to shift it really nice when going into second. I guess it's very common with them and even used trannys are like $3000.

Funny I got a ride in Rufus' S4 today on an autox and was quite impressed with its abilty to stayed glued. Felt very well mated and no real weak points became evident to me but he did mention that it is tough to launch.
