65 deg. overcast and breezy. Perfect.

The launch pad was brand new and really slippery. Everyone was having a hard time getting off the line that day. I really wanted to break a 2.0, 60' but the best I got was a 2.078. So close.

Jesse,
Nice! What tires are you running? How many runs did you actually get in and did the car slow down or stay about the same over the course of the runs?

You might wanna watch out. Melis did a 15.4 in our FWDer with crap tires to say the best of them, fwd and of course our now famous lack of shifting, but sometimes 1-3rd. You might not make it past a chic w/o your nitrious once the awder is in.

Yeah I'm sure I could take off another .10th or 2 if I can really nail the launch. If I had played with my tire pressures I may have been able to get a little more, but I'm lazy so it didn't happen.

I got 20 runs in that day, and the car stayed pretty consistent, I would do 3 or 4 runs and then let it sit for 1/2 hour and then go hit it somemore. I'm running Potenza RE730's that are quikly nearing racing slick stage.

Ben, tell Mell anytime any place. Just not Reading.

If you get a good 4:11 or 4:44 tranny in that thing you could probly kick some serious but.

No Reading <bad karma>
I'm new at all this, but very determined to be the best so if'n you have any tips to help me on my quest please let me know.

I'd definately compete against you...they say to be the best you need to beat the best right? Maybe in some future years I can represent the Subaru communities in a way that all will be proud of.

What is life without dreams? A dull one I say

Sweet break-down Jesse! Nail that launch and you could easily shave another 0.2 seconds from your ET!!!!
