[QUOTE=NeedForSpeed]The 70's, ended when? Check your radio dial lately?

And those 'green' hemi-clone Cudas, they sell for $120,000! That's just for a clone. The originals go near one million. Looks to me like the 70's are alive and prospering very well.

What a difference a couple decades makes. The SVX opened with a bid of $100.

If Cudas, Challengers and Chargers are the rage down there let me know. Where I live, even the originals go for well under CDN$10,000. If somebody can find a buyer with lots of $ for a nice Cuda with lots of performance upgrades I'll pay a finders fee. One of my nepews has bot a Cuda (yes, lime green) and a Charger that I'm sure he would part with for that big money!

The yellow, I like. Looks better then the green one. All yellow would be alot, but with the black it looks good. I liked 02-03 WRX in yellow, but that SVX has more of a Ferrari or BMW bright yellow then Subaru's orangy-yellow. The bright yellow looks better. A new WRX STi in bright yellow tastefully done would be nice.

What year is the Cuda? I may know someone interested, but without a hemi, it is only the beginning of a project.

The big dollars only come when someone drops a big load of money to convert to hemi and restore the car. It's not all profit.

Yeah, I agreed with you. All yellow would be too much. I like it alot with the black roof especially with the brown color windshield.

Yeah, this is pure bright yellow such as Ferrari or BMW unlike the typical orangy-yellow yellow-cab (TAXI) color. So I'm not driving a yellow cab, it's a bright yellow sporty coupe.

Thanks,

Is it a factory color, if so, on what? Or a custom color?

You're welcome.

It's not a factory color. It's a custom color.
There's no yellow SVX sold from factory in the US.

Right, I realize that no US yellow SVX. What I meant to say was the color on a Nissan, GM, etc?, or off a 'custom' paint chart?

Nah, the clones don't go for $120k. A NICE clone will probably run you $25-$30k. Some of the more desirable and nicer originals will run anywhere from there to $60k. Rare optioned cars will go for above $100k, like the convertibles and the AARs but not the clones. Some convertibles do price out at over $1mil but those are the rarest of the rare.

Oh, and those decals need to be much much larger to even begin to look like the Cuda's. It might be an attempt emulating them, but its way too crude and comes off looking terrible.
