My gas gauge doesn't work.

Is this a main problem with the SVX's or is it me. Sometimes it would jump to 1/4 of gas and it would hit rock bottom. How do i fix this problem? Thanks.

I have the same problem on one of my SVXes. It was doing the same thing until my trip to Reading VI. Then, it completely gave up the ghost. The ONLY way to fix it is to replace the complete fuel pump assembly. Unfortunately, the SVX was not designed with a separate "sender" unit. It's all contained in the fuel pump assy. Sorry to be the bearer of less than happy news.
