sweet rides

Last night i went for a ride in a friends wrx. He just put in injectors, a vf34, fuel pump, turboxs turbo back, up-pipe and a cobb acessport(sp?). Holy crap that thing is fun. Pulls so hard and smooth...then today at work I got a ride in an M5....all this while my car is incapacitated. It's like god is thumbing his nose at me....but yeah, the M5...it's not so much that it's fast, because it is...but it's so incredibly smooth and solid...I want!

Got a ride in a heavily modded SVT Lightning before. That truck runs the 1/4 in 12 flat on street tires. Needless to say the truck spun its tires in first, second and third gears on the street at WOT....

Got a quick spin in an R34 Skyline GT-R when I was in Korea. That car was relatively stock, but still moved like STINK!!!

Just put tires on a Cobra replica with the big block, and the guy let me take it around the block "to check for vibrations". I'm still looking for my left nut.

And, yes, the customer was with me, and completely cool with it. We're having a BBQ next weekend, weather permitting.

I always loved the 2000 Version 6 STi's My dad had one for a short while and I loved it!! Decided that when I get back to Australia, I'll be buying a Ver. 6 and turning it into my rally car and start the Australian Rally Championship (eventually.... $ permitting)

Did you see when they had that on...I'm drawing a blank on the name of the show. It's that one on speed that has the history of Porsche, Ferrari, Alfa, etc. Pretty insane, 60 in first gear.
