Very happy new SVXer

Well I bought my very first Subaru and god do I ever love this SVX. Its in need of a few things, the norm, wheel bearings and could probably use a new rack. Going to have the exhaust fixed this week hopefully (the 3rd cat is swiss cheese).

She is stock for now and will stay mostly that way. Dvd system will be added at a later date but will make this more of a family vehicle. Nothing like a DVD and a Gamecube to make it more family friendly. My baby girl loves taking rides in the "fast car".

Overall I am supremely happy. Looks like a great little community here and I am glad to join. Can't complain for $2000, I expected to have to put some money into it, but to see this kind of following really makes me feel like I have something special on my hands.

Mallford,

Welcome to our SVX Family. Enjoy the ride. Watch out for the Camaro Z-28 police car in Cortland, NY. He usually tracks speeders on I-81.

Alcyone,

I just love the zebra stiped SVX in your avatar. I hope yoe sent a big version to Randy.

Mallford,
Welcome to the SVX family! Be careful, it's hard to stop at ONE (they're worse than Lays potato chips. )

And, yes, Larry. I have a copy of the Zebra striped SVX.

Welcome Mallford. Just don't let your lady friend find out about buying a new 'RACK' for your mistress. She may get upset!

Hey Earl, that link's hilarious. Looks like those horsies in the background are paying homage to the 230 horsies in each of those six SVXii .

Yeah. Just try it and see what happens.

Thank the Reagan administration for that. He says we can walk free . Maybe he forgot why we were put in 'The Home'.

Welcome Mallford, I am just up the road about 15 min north or Cortland/Homer. I know there is at least one more member from Binghamton, but I can't think of who it is it the moment. Nice to have a new "local" member. This club might be handy to you if you are not aware of it: www.DMCarClub.com , free storage, work area, help, and lift. Planning on going to the Reading Meet?

That Reading meet might be something to check out. Gonna have to check those dates out. As far as another guy in the area I believe he lives in my town. He and his girlfriend I believe have one each. And come to think of it you might know my car since it came from Ithaca. It was really strange to see two of these cars in the paper at the same time in such a small area. This is the one I could afford, would of been fun to see the other one though.

Nice to see such an active board. Much better than the Jeep TJ board I was in. Slap a date in here for that Reading meet in case I can't find it.
