Countess,

By the sound of you, it would seem you are on the up. Good on yer!

Sorry to hear your car is totalled, but you are correct to look for another one. It did the job very well of protecting you.

There are over 1500 members on the Network. There have been some really heavy accidents, some at not for publication speeds. We only know of one poor chap to have lost his life, a young guy who was drink driving.

The SVX is not a tank, and no car should be driven with that in mind. Rather, we should all drive as if our cars were made of eggshells. We would be better and safer drivers for it. The SVX has a combination of active and passive safety that is hard to beat, except by the best of the latest, and I am thinking of big Audi 4WD cars here.

Keep on smiling

Joe

hehe

Yes, I am on the up ... I feel almost human again. Well, for another 5 minutes till my drugs start wearing off. Head is better, tho !!! Thinking straight, and I want another SVX ...

I am very impressed with how it protected me, I have seen cars a lot worse off after that kind of accident.

I found some !!! 4 of them !!! One is $30k tho it is a 1994 *sob* cannot afford that one. Might have to have a trip to QLD if the cheaper ones are still for sale ...

Countess, I'm just now posting to this thread because I've been too heartsick for you to say anything up 'til now. Glad to hear you're on the up and you're still looking for another SVX. Get back on the horse, gal! Glad to know that you weren't injured. BTW, the "CHP" you see in my signature, is in memory of the young man who lost his life in the crash. Take good care and we'll all keep our fingers crossed that you find an excellent specimen at the right price.

Thanks, Aredubjay! Looking, looking, looking.
Hey, it is 4.43am ... I should be in bed ... But, no, I am here ... Is there something wrong with that?

*slaps head* No way !! I am just obsessed, nothing wrong with that !

Maybe I should ring the insurance company ... leave hundreds of messages asking about my cheque

"Is it ready yet?"
"How about now?"
"...now...?"

I am quite familiar with the "obsession" syndrome. Many's the time when I've received a PM asking "don't you ever sleep?" To which I 'd reply, "I can sleep when I'm dead."

Yes, stay on 'em. Tell them you're suffering from withdrawal and if they don't cough up the dough soon, they'll also be paying for rehab.

Jeeeez, you people have had 19 hours, how long does it take to print a cheque and rubber-stamp a signature on it ? Why is the money not in my bank yet ?

Think I will try sleep again ... neck has stopped hurting, I love pain-killers !!!

Nighty night, my friendly obsessed SVXer *grin*
