AMR Aluminum Radiator

I suppose that, if someone has one of these they want to sell, they'd already have put it up for sale. Just in case, though:

WANTED: AMR ALUMINUM RADIATOR FOR SVX.

In good shape, of course.

Re: AMR Aluminum Radiator

Any idea how long it takes to remove old and install new radiator? 1-2 hours? Thanks...doing it tonight. Just wondering how much time is needed.

Re: AMR Aluminum Radiator

Depends on how fast you work and how prepared you are, but 2 hours is pretty reasonable. Are you doing a PWR or a regular radiator?

Re: AMR Aluminum Radiator

bought off ebay...china made but had a silla name on it. not in front of me right now. I'm letting a friend do it as he has a garage/lift and I do not want to deal with fluids and cold weather...was wondering about appropriate labor charge to give him.

Re: AMR Aluminum Radiator

The Silla ones are similar to stock, and can be found on ebay for (IMO) a very reasonable price.

Question Re: AMR Aluminum Radiator

Supposedly OEM...Looks just like the original. was advertised on ebay with the factory part number so I figured I'd give a try. Others here have also bought from same seller...radsus. From approx $120 - $150. supposedly higher priced have aluminum tanks. As long as it doesn't leak I'll be happy enough. so...two hours labor...$150?

None of them will have aluminum tanks. They are all plastic. The only radiator with aluminum tanks is the PWR. They are aluminum core.

Re: AMR Aluminum Radiator

Make sure that you use only Subaru radiator hoses.
They fit correctly.

Re: AMR Aluminum Radiator

@Nate Yea I was wondering about that. WYOSVX, didn't mean to hi-jack your post. I'll see if the replacement fits/works by week end.
