HVAC parts

Hi. My UK spec HVAC unit is doing the usual trick - scrolling up to maximum temp, cutting out etc. I'm going to replace all the electrolytic capacitors in it as they cost pennies and go out of spec with age. But I also want to replace the temperature sensing thermistor. However, it has no markings on it whatsoever. Has anyone ever replaced it? Does anyone know what it is?
Thanks,

Will Holman

This guy figured out how to fix that problem, but he didn't change the temp sensor.

Re: HVAC parts

Thanks for that - it's a useful post. I'll just change all the electrolytic capacitors and see whether that does the trick then.

Re: HVAC parts

I managed to fix mine simply by replacing the three electrolytic capacitors on the two display PCBs.
