Will a subaru 5MT transmission fit in the trunk of an SVX?

I think it should...as I once transported an entire 2.5 engine in the trunk and it fit. Just checking if anyone has done this before? And most importantly..does the trunk close?

Thanks

I know OT has had a FWD one at least in the trunk of his. So I believe you should be able to.

A FWD 4EAT in the trunk.
But I believe that an AWD 5 speed would fit with the trunk lid closed.
You might have to have the back seat folded down.

Any 5 spd or 4eat will fit in the trunk, with the seat left up... I think I've transported at least 5 in the trunk of the laguna... including all the way back from Pennsylvania...
