WTB: Dropping Resistor

Looking for a tan center console in as nearly perfect condition as possible and a dropping resistor. If you have just one or the other, that's fine too. I can pick up if it's near 93505, otherwise give me an estimate for shipping please. Thanks!

what is a dropping resistor? what is it used for?

Here is a picture of the dropping resistor:

It's located behind the battery on the driver's side. It regulates line pressure for the transmission and if it works properly it will have a resistance of 10 Ohms. If it doesn't work at all, you get a Solenoid A TCU code and a flashing power light on startup.

ahhh i know what that is.. but was unfamiliar with your term. I always hear trans-resistor or some such phrasing.

why not just replace the resistor?
