for those of you with cracked radiators...

you may want to try this stuff called PermaPoxy 5 minute plastic weld. i had the crack right along the top of my tank like many others...it was a good 6 inches long or so. i've tried everything else...jb weld, quick steel, etc...and they all ended up cracking after a few miles. here's a link to the stuff i just used on mine...PermaPoxy . it's held up for about 1500 miles so far, and no sign of leakage. just thought i'd share my little discovery with those of you in search of the 5 dollar fix, instead of the $400 plunge. i'm hoping it'll hold for awhile ::knock on wood::

does dry and cure count as not driving the car for a day and a half? lol...the first time i used quiksteel...that flaked...then jb weld...that split...then quiksteel...fell off...jb weld and quiksteel...*sigh* it got to the point where i just let the car sit for over a day after i applied to stuff just to make sure that it would dry and cure oh well...maybe it's just me

It is still holding, but I don't trust it. Currently browsing my radiator replacement options. Are the new radiators any better or do they crack too?
