Bummer...the dreaded christmas lights..
Hit me right between the eyes today Got out with my handy multimeter (which I always have with me) and checked the voltage at the battery terminals with the engine turned off. it was 11.57volts. started it up and and rechecked the voltage at the battery terminals. It still was only 11.57volts.
Bummer no charging. Drove right up the auto parts to get a replacement and discovered that alternators for our svx's are not that prevalent. five different stores later and about 30 miles of running on just the battery, I finally had a success story. That all started at 4:00 pm and now is 6:18 pm (same day) and back home project completed, no more christmas lights, and wasting more time on this computer! Don't you just love these cars!! so easy to work on.... and fun! Never had a car that I actually was in love with before! Take care, Keith |

Where did you find one in stock? Most places say WRX when I say SVX, and look at me like I am retarded.
