Should I go for it?
I found this 95 SVX about 1 hour away from me on CL. Wont shift to third gear. The rest of car seems ok, asking $1350.
Can the shifting problem can be as simple as adjust the brake band? Or its the high clutch failure? If the trany is bad, how much would you guys pay for a 95? The question is, does it shift to 3rd & just rev, or does it refuse to shift at all. If it doesn't shift at all, it could be as simple as a band adjustment. If it shifts, then "free revs" It's the high clutch, and the trans is in need of a rebuild. Don't ask me how I know this.

Assuming everything else about the car is good, $1350 is an excellent price.

 . Hopefully member from this network who know how to treat the car right.Anyway, I saved a 92 teal from a junk yard yesterday. Need a lot of work to get it to run again. Its been sitting for over 4 years  . The trany looks like it has been rebuild at one point. Will post pictures soon.
