It's a Scam....
thanks for the insult. I'm eighteen, I haven't been around scams like this yet in my life.

We called the FBI and were told it was more than likely a scam, and that they'd look into it, and that they'd probably go and threaten us with police action (since we have THEIR money) and we should just tell them "go right ahead, but when the police come, I'd like to see you with them. But since those people were harassing us, we called the bank and asked them what to do, and they said that rather than trying to push it through, she said to tell them that the bank was placing a hold on the funds, and that to get them to go through, they'd need a faxed copy of the front and back of some paperwork. so when they called, My mother told them what was up, and they hung up and we haven't heard from them since.

Sooooo... Now I get to keep my svx. Kind of sucks, since that damn water pump is leaking again and I was hoping I didn't have to fix it.

You should have sent them your car and the healthy over payment money they asked for. When they got your car and discovered that your water pump was leaking then they would have been the ones getting screwed!

i had a similar situation trying to sell my drum set on ebay. it was odd. the check i got was 10 times more than what i was selling the drum set for. in the end. i didnt' lose the drum set but i got accused from the bank of putting in a fake check.

That is totally a scam. Steer clear of people that have to make a deal right away, use only Western Union and want to pay more then something is worth.
