vent problem

my fan cuts out randomly and turns on randomly any ideas

He forgot to mention that it only happens when he hits bumps and it doesn't matter if the engine is warm or not.

Climate control. I thought it was a wiring issue myself.

even though the fan is off

i can still feel the heat but there is no blowing to back it up i have to put my hand right on the vent and then i can barely feel it

On AUTO setting? When you manually turn-on the blower, it works? On AUTO, whether or not the blower runs depends upon the cabin temp you set. I think you need to describe what it's doing -- at what settings -- in more detail, for anyone offer advice.
