probably a dumb questions about our trannys

wasup , this is proly adumb question but will a 97' svx tranny fir in a 92' with out any type of alterations? ( the tcu or any electronical stuff) ????

i just got through reading about 3 hours of search topics on transmission/torque convertors/resistors and could tell you that the forum says yes. i DO NOT have first hand knowledge,though.

I can't say for sure. Anything up to '95 should work but I'm not sure if OBD2 causes any issues.

I checked on subaruparts.com and it's as though every year SVX had a different TCU.
