Road trip NC to WA

Thought I would take a moment to report on my recent road trip from North Carolina with my "new" black 92.
Highlights:
Quality time with my 12 year old daughter. ***
Setting the cruise for 100 while following an Audi TT in Colorado with a few bursts to 120 (I think he was trying to lose me) He finally hit a radar trap and I cruised by.
Visit to the Arch in St. Louis
Subaru dealer in Tennessee fixing the cruise control for $17
Visit with my brother and his two kids in TN.
Being upgraded to first class on the two outbound flights.

Lowlights:
SVX not being "as advertised" as far as body, paint
Owner didn't wash, vacuum or even air it out before I got there
No spare tire or jack
Finding on the first test drive that the rear diff was noisey (drove home in 2wd) and that it had a bad left rear wheel bearing. $285 in St. Louis
Ticket in Kansas for 96 in a 70
Blizzards in Idaho's Blue mountains and over Snoqualomie pass, both negociated in 2wd.

All in all though a memorable trip and the SVX will soon be fitted with 17" wheels, springs, sway bars, Konis, 5 speed or HD automatic, clear headlights, grille, and a turbo.

Dang it, Brian. You probably came somewhere near me (unless you took I-55 out of TN. Ennyhoo, wished I could have met up with you'n's as you came through. I'm only 3 hours from St. Louis.

Glad you had a good trip, though. QT with the kids is always the best part.

Randy, do you know where Farmington, MO is? I think it is an hour south of St. Louis. Or is it an hour north? Not sure, but maybe an hour closer, or further from you than St. Louis. Ever heard of it? I'm supposed to visit my best friend from H.S. there some time.

Yessir. Know exactly where it is. Just off HWY 67 somewhere between Park Hills and Doe Run. It's a coupla hours south of St. Louey. Let me know when you'll be there, and, if possible, I'll meet up witchas.

Park Hills! I was racking my brain yesterday trying to remember that name. That is where he is moving to soon I think. It's all the same general area though. He's been there almost two years so I really need to get down there. Will definitely let youse all know.
