Where did you get that shift boot and what brand/model is it? I kinda like that style.

In a way I wish I had waited...that looks pretty nice. It probably would have fit my car perfectly and matched my shifter as well. Ah well, woulda cost more I guess, meh...

It's a Wheelskins universal model I got from http://www.autotoystore.com/ The guy is in the area so I went and picked it up at his house. He was working on a Caterham 7 in his basement, twas awesome.

the sti trim plate and boot cost from memory around $350au which i think is pretty good given how easy it is to fit plus the fact it is a genuine subaru part, and it also gives me a reason to upgrade to the six speed in the future. by the way how much was your six speed box?

I actually got it off a buddy of mine...he had it in his truck...I've looked everywhere tring to locate one like it, with no success.
It works great, has a strip of vinyl, with a piece of ribbed plastic on the end of it, you just shove it down between the fax suede and the vinyl part of the dash, then it hangs over the side….works great, has a big side to hold cups, and a slightly smaller size to hold other objects(pack of cigs, French fries, sunglasses, ect)
If I could ever find them at a store, I’d let everybody know about them, as I like it better than the wedgie(although I have a couple of those too )
