German cars are among the finist in the world, the army ran over europe until they over expanded, and they don't name streets after dirt bags. france will always be below Germany.

I mearly pointed out a few things. Citroen, Renault, and Puegeot, for the most part have some of the ugliest cars ever. There have been exceptions, but not many. Most German cars are a wonderful thing to stare at. But, there have been exceptions. The Germans were the first people to defeat the Romans on an organized battlefield. The french have four modes of war fighting, run, hide, surrender, and colaberate. My biggest gripe with the french is thier overwelming air of superiority from a nation that really doesn't have much to be smug over. The naming of the street is the last straw. If you are french, then sorry. But using history as a judge, and not my personal opinion, the Germans are still ahead of the french.

The French were the first to come up with a revolving turret on a tank which of course revolutionized the vehicle. Before this invention, the tank was not a significant part of WWI.

This is absolutely true. Look it up.

The French weren't trying to revolutionize anything, they just wanted a quicker means to turn around and run.

The french did develop the revolving turret, but as a means of defense as the Renault tank was so heavy and under powered it was getting flanked in exercises by smaller lighter British tanks. The Germans developed the Panzer I as a scout tank equipped with just one or two machine guns. The Panzer II was the first to use a canon. The Panzer III was designed as the first medium tank, but the first truly modern tank was the Panzer IV. The follow up Tiger, Panther, and Royal Tiger were arguably the best tanks of the war, with the exception of the last generation of Russian T-34/85 and IS-3. The Americans were lucky they could make the M-4 is great numbers, because they were only better then the slow underpowered french tanks (B1-bis, M35, M40). Even the British 3rd generation tanks (Comet, Centurian, Churchill IV) were better then M-3's and M-4's.
