However that being said we dropped a few $ to pick up the JDM switch assembly "just in case".

Finished it up and tested. Found two errors we made. Nothing smoked and was able to add one missing lead and rewire the shutoff time transistor. Need to get a small project box and will move the fuse to be accessible outside the box (different type holder). Pleased with the result. Have adjusted the timers to suit the open and closed time of the SVX mirror motors (about 5-6 seconds each way). Will install it in the spring as it is too cold in the “garage” (I wish) ah car port and as the SVX will go for repaint the Monday after Christmas.

Right now it is all bench work with the innards of the JDM mirrors and temp wiring. Works just like the video on you tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0Q02pww3kw. We will post a video of the installed results in the spring after we can back to actual work on the car without cold and wet fingers freezing up. We set the relay power activation for 5-6 seconds and that was plenty to "unfold" the mirror and retract it.

Not fixed. The weather conditions have been less than ideal for continued diags and the only warm dry place I can put it is my garage, and I don't want to. My optimism is building, however. I may poke at it seriously this weekend.

pulled the engine and got the broken valve cover bolts out finally, pulling the intake cam on the drivers side to retime it. it was one tooth off. and test fitted some wide aggressive rims. lol

Double hot darn. Checked out the SVX repaint today. (Tuesday pickup) Got some photos. The mirror and rear quarter garnishes are our responsibility to install in much warmer weather. Also need to decide on either the silver or gold Alcyone badge for the hood. Infinity Emerald Mist Metallic. A bit over 5K$.

Congrats, looks great. Wonderful to see someone willing to put some serious $ into their SVX. Can't help but like the Mustang wheels. Having a set on mine, I think that they are a great match.

Silver badge without a doubt. Let the silver accent there and the silver wheels complement this great color!

I have always liked this color since I first saw it. Has a contemporary high-tech edge to it which does not look dated.

Gwyneth the repaint looks totally awesome. Great Color choice. Congrats. Love the Jdm sideskirts and rear spoiler as well. I always loved the folding side view mirrors. Cant wait to see your new queen. You have to come down for a mini meet with us Yankees.

Put summer tires back on, swapped the grill back to my stock unpainted one. Hopefully the nice weather is here to stay.
