Check engine ligth comes on when temperature pass 70F

New for SVX´s, but Im here to stay. My SVX is 1994 so my "Dash Dino" does not work with. I need to know where is the OBD connector and what should I use to check what is causing my CEL to go on. Any reccomendations?

If you look in the how-to's, there is the process for code retrieval in detail. Basically, there is a small black connector behind the kick panel, stick one of the blue wires in the 2nd pin from the left on the top row with the notch facing up.

Check engine light comes on when temperature passes 70° F

,

Here are the Check Engine Codes from the factory Service Manual

http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/atta...1&d=1303646749

Information on other types of codes can be found by clicking on the SVX Information Warehouse

Once you get there, click on "SVXIpedia" at the top of the page, then click on "Checking Error Codes" (third from the top) and pick another topic.

Hope this helps. Welcome to the network!!

Re: Check engine ligth comes on when temperature pass 70F

thank you for the wellcome. I hope I can keep this beauty for long time from now. Thanks for the info about the CEL too. I still dont know much about this old processors and the way they comunicate with computers... I think I should get the evoscan but I do not understand if the price is for the wire or for the software or both; the wire they propose is different than the 9 pin showed in the page http://www.alcyone.org.uk/ssm/ports.html...
May someone illustrate me, I would apreciate a lot!
By the way, I´ll try to clean and regrease the sun roof... any sugestion or special trick I should know before starting? shoul I disassembly the roof covers inside the cabin?
thanks
