did i pay too much?

ive been looking around at svx\'s for sale comparable to mine and i think i MAY have over payed a little. so i wanted to see what any of you thought about it.

first of all i payed 2750 for it (he was asking 3120). 1992 lsl 143xxx miles, been sitting for almost a year before i bought it.

work needed:
d/s cv halfshaft
p/s pressure hose
new tires (done) only REALLY needed 1 (sidewall bulge) but, as you all know, had to get all 4
Tranny flush and filter (done)
probably going to flush front/rear diffs
rear windshield sprayer doesnt work (line is broke, probably an easy fix)
Speed sensor
clean AIC valve

other than that its a great car. paint isnt bad for age and mileage, some chips, nothing major. interior is great, leather still in great condition. runs awsome. he put a new rear tail light in (minor hole) and a new belt a few days before i decided it was a sure thing. ill be doing most (if not all) of the work myself, just waiting for it to get nice out and some snow to melt off, which could be a long time from now, so i might just find someone with a garage. he was/is selling (as far as i know, its still for sale) a teal with 2xxxxx something miles on it still for the same asking price if anyone is interested. idk the condition as i never went to look at that one, i fell in love with mine instantly, and when i test drove it i was actually just wanting to see how they drove, not really even thinking of buying it, i was just curious. look how that turned out haha. thanks for any input!

I wouldn't say you over payed. Thats a reasonable price for the mileage and all. Most of the work needed is just little things.

I'd say you could have talked him down alittle more but you didnt over pay really.

I think that is a fair price. I don't think you over paid at all. The price of these cars is starting to climb now and has already bottomed out. You will see the price start to go up if it hasn't already done so. I have seen newer year models already starting to get better prices as time goes on.
