just had some Blizzaks put on the LGT today.

i must say that the SVX with some cheap Winterhandler snow tires was unstoppable in the snow and the most confidence-inspiring car i've ever driven in crappy weather. even funnier was the fact that it was a low-slung sportscar that drove past big SUV's that couldn't make it up some snowy hills.

i'm curious to see how these new tires and the Leg compare to the SVX in the white stuff. of course, i probably won't see anymore snow until next winter.

I just went to and from work, and the roads are okay. I had no problem navigating the minimal slush here and there in the Legacy. The roads in Westfield and Cranford weren't bad either. I think you can still make it.

I hate snow

5 years of living in Kansas was enough for me and now i'm glad to be back in Texas, the land of no snow!

Although, one year when we got 10" in one day, i went out and got some new tires on the SVX, found an old deserted soccer field not far from where i worked and spent hours (and 3/4 tank of gas) driving all through it :P That was a blast.

I have so really great pics of it too, i'll dig them out when i get home and post a few if i can find them.

Here in Iowa, we are only a couple inches away from record snowfall. There is no doubt in my mind that we will beat the record. It's just been snowing like every other day here. Today is actually very nice, it warmed up to about 25 degrees, and the sun is out and doing some fabulous melting action right now!

I finally understand why AWD is so handy. This car just goes absolutely anywhere I point it. Goes through 2 1/2 ft. drifts just fine, and as long as you just keep your foot on the gas, it is very manageable.

Who has two thumbs and loves AWD? This guy! *points to self with thumbs*

The roads are fine. By now it's turning to rain and starting to melt everything. The snow was nice until about 4 hours ago

I live in western Mass. It snows alot. The SVX makes a great snowplow!
I even used it to tow a ZX2 UP my driveway out of a snow bank. (Just don't tell any transmission experts out there)

WANT.

We're supposed to get another 10" or so here next week. After that we'll be within spitting distance of the 100 year record for snowfall.

This is the first snowfall this year(and possibly last year too) that actually needed to be shoveled. Anything else melted away within a day.

No snow's bad because it's a money-maker for me since I plow with my Dad.

Notice the crappy tires. My winter hasn't been that fun because of those. Summer tires suck in snow, even with the rear LSD (which I think is still working - the back end gets awful touchy).

Nothin' like driving a car that looks like this in the wintertime.

Took a couple shots of mine yesterday too. The snow's cleared up quite a bit in the last couple of days, and the car looks kind of clean even! I may go wash it this afternoon at the shop.

There's one of mine.

Honestly, like you said LetItSnow, it's pretty hard to beat driving a car that looks this good anytime of the year!
