manually letting seat back

My back part of the driver seat motor went out apparently but I was wondering if anybody can tell me if it's possible to let it back manually like you can with the sunroof.

Driving upright! thanx.

Are you sure its not the switch assembly?

I have seen a couple of instances of bad contacts on that switch that would not let the seat move forward and back.

there are three motors under the seat -- back/forward, recline, and up/down

if your sunroof and windows are also "on the fritz", it's a good chance that the solenoid under the driver's seat is corroded.

their fine

THe windows and sunroof work. BUtton cant be an issue because when moving the seat foward or backword I'll hit the reclining button and the seat stops, just like it would normally. So the switch is working I guess.
