Unhappy OEM-pre-cats

Hi!

Whats the prize for the OEM pre-cats in Usa? I asked my subarudealer in Sweden and they wanted 15 000 swedish kronor = 2 000 dollar!!!!

try looking up price at subaruparts.com -- I think the two forward cats are about 425 each

These guys are advertising front cat pipes for £389 each. Not sure what this works out at into Kronor but as we're nearly $2 to £1 it's about $750 each......

It looks like a complete pipe from manifold to center cat, so I guess if the pipework is ok your local exhaust place could weld you in a new cat ??

Look on e-bay under; Magnaflow
(pre-cats #50004) or
(main 2 in 1 cat #94007)
They are less than $95 each

Summit Racing also makes applicable pre-cats for $60 each US; they cause no problems with O2 sensors. I have a pair on my '97.

(Edit - I also got a free hat!)
