when we had a blizzard in april 2003, it handled the four feet of snow poorly.

So your storm came up to Winnipeg although it didn't hit us head-on.

Yesterday it rained!?! (-5°C)

Today it's supposed to be above freezing (+3°C)

Normal high for Winnipeg is -12.7°C

rain at 23°F? i don't think that's ever happened here. and an average daytime high in january is 9.1°F? yikes! denver's is probably about 50°F. hopefully, the temp will get high enough to melt the snow around my hyundai which has been stuck between my driveway and street for 3 days.

Theres still about 2 feet everywhere you go around here, so if you want, bring a big dump truck and you are more then welcome to take it with you.

Dump truck on the way . Current Ottawa conditions: +10 C (~45 F), and the tiny amount of snow we have is rapidly dissappearing. Ski hills are closing.

This time last year: -40 C (-40 F) WITHOUT the wind chill.

I'm ****ing peeved.

We got another foot today. The snow was deep enough I was actually fishtailing the X, and I plowed the Dodge through a snow burm. I also had to drive a Uhaul today so I can now safely say there is one thing that handles worse than the Caravan.

Even so I was still doing better than a few hundred other people.

Hows Iverson doing with the snow?

I wonder if he hates that he ever went there and how's he getting around in all that snow.

This is the day I got my svx, and took it for a test drive, while helicopters watched.

People were all kinds of pissed off about him coming here, because they couldnt get flights into or out of DIA, and he arrived on a special chartered plane ahead of everyone else.

Okay I'm not whining here (or am I) but this is getting ridiculous.

Looked on 9 news. com a minute ago and we should expect another 6 to 10 inches here in the foothills again by tomorrow afternoon.

Is it just me or has it been a couple of decades since we had a winter like this... I was thinking about 82' specifically. Granted we don't have as much snow as we did then (not even close) but right now it's once a week.

Just when I think I can stop 4 wheeling my SVX to get onto Colfax we get another one.

Yeah I know a lot of places have much worse winters but hey after 30 some years of mild winters a guy has a tendency to get spoiled.

Ira
