I'm impressed. Them wild n' crazy Finns finally devised functional SVX cup holders. (Wine's stored in the connie spare, no doubt). But what in hay-ill are them contraptions growin' outta' the hood!?!?

Good news. This site also features other forms of attractive body-work.

Ron.

Solves lots of problems. Moving the spare outboard opens up much needed space in the trunk, while helping to better distribute the weight of the vehicle front-to-back. Side tanks ensure that you won't run out of gas when the quirky SVX gauge reads "empty" and you think maybe it really has a few more gallons. Airplane landing lights on the front answer questions regarding the need for more light through foggy headlight lenses and weak bulbs. Front cow-catcher bumper fends off those inconsiderate #@+$^# who back into you in a parallel parking space. All-in-all, this owner has given us pause to consider what might have been if someone with a little more creativity had designed the SVX.

As long as you are taking these things into consideration, maybe they should have strapped an extra transmission to the roof, so that when it blows, you can just pop in a new one!

I like it. Somebody recently backed into my car and damaged the hood. So, I'd invest in a bumper/skid plate/lights setup like this.

What are those things on the hood? Looks like shovels. Pretty cool looking and useful when you bog down in the sand or snow.

I'm really surprised that there's no roof rack.

I wonder if he uses the fuel tanks on the side for racing octane for that extra kick when you pump in the nos?

I "like" it too. I think it looks awesome.

I'd never do it, but kudos to this guy. It's not like it's riced out by some noob who just wants to sell it on Ebay to some tool. It's his car, he loves it, and he is using it to the potential he needs it to reach.
He obviously has no intention of setting any speed records.

To each his/her own, right? Does anyone have any idea what the things on the hood are?

Arrow ?????

There is a line between functionality and style. To tell you the truth If someone gave me that front grill gaurd I would have to install it for a little while. Maybe that svx owner that hit that moose could have benefited from the grill gaurd.

I live in west Texas and Deer are everywhere. I would hate to hit one. The extra tire thing is kinda horride. Its like a wanna be 007 car only lame ass style.

Drive out RR620 from Bee Cave to Lakeline Mall at dusk and see how valuable that cow-catcher frontend might be.

Yes, one IS a shovel! They both may be, ussually offroaders will have an axe, so that may be the other. I believe the desert comment to be the most logical, in which case those would both be shovels.
