I haven't checked for boost leak. I'm not suspecting a boost leak, because the gauge is reading good. I think it is most likely an issue with the fuel system. I replaced the filter and made some minor improvements. Here's were I am currently at. I think it may be the Pressure regulator. I leave the key turned on but the engine not running (to allow the pump to build up pressure). The car will run awesome for about 5 minutes. Then it goes to crap. I have a pressure regulator on order now. Tomarrow I'm going to disect the on in it to see if I can find any obvious problems with it. I accually go up to about 70MPH today before it crapped out again. I could be over boosting it too. Stock boost is around 8lbs. The gauge was showing 12lbs breifly. |
