OverHaul Kit

This is the as-so-far compiled list of what service I will be doing on my svx coming soon. My car is at 160k with a 70k 4.11 tranny to keep in mind.
Let me know if I am missing anything, or if something really isnt neccesary. I might pull the engine to do it all at once. Thanks!

hows the suspension and bushings and all that good stuff? ball joints, control arms that sort of think. Just some suggestions.

the ball joints you want to check and see if the rubber is still "full looking" and the rubber isnt cracked and no grease is coming out of them. They are at the bottom of the lower control arm and are ~50.00 or so and very easy to replace. The tie rods your looking for the same type of thing no cracks and still full of grease. You can try to shake the wheel while its in the air and look for play in any of the suspension components on the side of the car your working on. *make sure the vehicle is supported* any slop should be evident by looking at the suspension while moving the tire side to side and up and down. I believe there is talk that the rear diff mount cracks over time, i havent checked mine but im sure its on its way out might be worth a check. The sway bar bushings in the front would be a good thing to check to. I know my driverside is gone and makes some nice sounds when you hit bumps in the road. These are just rubber towards the middle of the front of the car one on both sides of the front of the engine. Look for and overly worn rubber or looseness or lack of a bushing in my case. Hope these help you out and if you have any questions just ask im sure if i cant explain or help you ssome of the much more svx' savy vets. here can. Hopefully you wont need much of those. Nothing too crazy expensive in the list thats always good.

Yup sure is That second one isnt compressed because there is supposed to be grease in that area.

Speaking of which Tom, I need to set a shop date to have a small test drive and maybe have a few things evaluated. Also, big time, if there is anything you notice that you think i might need or could just use, please include it here, since my car has exposed herself to you!
