Door sensor

I know you have heard this a million times, but my seatbelt wont move forward when the door opens.... I noticed also that the dome light doesnt always go on, and the indicator on my dash that shows the door is open doesnt light up. Where is the sensor that is all related to?

It's part of the door latch located inside the door.

It's probably just a loose connection. For getting the inner door panel off just do a search (covered countless times). Just check all the connections by wiggling or replugging them. Might be a good idea to have a multimeter to test continuity.

It is extremely doubtful there is anything wrong with the door actuator switch. My guess is the wires to it have come loose as well.

On my old svx, I had the same problem. Opened the door up, felt down, and the wires were not even connected anymore But then after I plugged it in, I found out my seatbelt switch wasn't working right either
