Congratulations Pappa Benebob

and Happy Birthday to Evangeline Roth

I just got the call, as of about 1:40 Angie and Ben are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl.

About all I know is that mother and baby are healthy, and Ben sounded more excited then I've ever heard him

I'm sure he'll be posting more details later on, but since he's always beating me on the track, I figured I could beat him at getting this news onto the boards.

Congratulations Buddy

Not sure where you get this always beating me on the track from... I can't get very consistant runs, just 1 fast one filled with lots of crap and cones in between. . I'm worried though that LeakingOil who made her debut and was well within a second of our best on the same track during her second time driving the car! Gotta keep her in the ladies classes!

Yeah birth was about 1:40am 5-24, They induced around 9am 5-23 so it was definately a long day but longer for my better half.

Both mother and baby are doing well 8lbs, 8oz. birth weight. She will have her own SVX I can promise in 16 years. Full name is Evangeline Louise Roth. Not crazy about Evangeline as it is an old Dylan/The Band song that pops in my head every time I say it but Even Roth is pretty cool . Besides, even after 9 months of trying I couldn't convince the wife to go with Yogi for a boy or a girl.

Here's a pic if I can do this right at 4:25 am for my first pic post.

Congrats Angie & Ben!!!!!!
I'm sorry I called you early this morning, but I've been waiting anxiously for the moment. Glad everything went smooth with no complications. If there is anything I can help with let me know.

(I'm only LeakingOil on USMB) As for the racing...that was fun. I know I hit 1 cone, but Kimmi said 2-3 total. Just waiting for them to post times to see what's what.

As soon as you and Angie are set up I'll come and see the new addition..until then GET PLENTY OF REST!

Just another reason you correctly referred to Angie as "your better half"

Awesome! Congrats!
Have to say I had the same reaction when I read the name Evangeline
Take lots of pictures and get plenty of rest (not necessarily in that order )

Awsome! Congrats to both Mom and Dad!
Enjoy every second of it, cause the next year is going to just fly by!
Now go catch a little sleep while you can, cause with a newborn in the house you may not be getting much!

(Mrs.Flyr was wondering if you guys had the baby yet, now she can quit bugging me!)

Best of luck in fatherhood, Mr. Benebob! Make sure to keep your precious new addition away from Mr. Billy Ray Chike Bob's relatives when she grows up, I recently heard many disturbing comments regarding their interpretation of the pleasant barnswallow that inhabits this wonderful U.S of A

Congrats

Hi Ben, How great it is. I don't see why you can't call her "YOGI" as a nickname. Of course the Ms. may have something to say about it, seeing as she did about all the work! Take it easy and enjoy every second. It goes so fast. BOBB
