SS brake line installation

I know I need to use flare nut wrench to remove the oem lines. Does anybody know what size? metric or standard?

I am not sure of the size but they are metric. The whole car is metric. The normal sizes that I have experenced with the SVX are 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 17mm, 19mm. the 12 and 14 are the most used on this car.

If you get a flare set of metric's that will cover the one you need.

Okay I bought a five piece set that has different sizes on each end. I hope I won't need two of the same size at the same time. You know one to stabilize and the other to break loose.

But remember, when you think you will only need one, you will usually end up needing two.

Re: SS brake line installation

I don't know what a flare nut wrench is, but I helped a fellow SVXer replace his lines with just the standard wrenches and tools.
