How to get your frozen windows open again.

One word, BASS :P
My windows were frozen shut the other day so drive thru was kinda a pain with -27C winds then the song "Boom Boom Pow" was playing and i cranked it (speakers in the front are old stock) and got some horrible rattle from pushing the old speakers too much and then i hit the window button and VOILA!! it opened.

Re: How to get your frozen windows open again.

My factory CD player is getting cranky about burned discs, and my iPod FM transmitter doesn't carry bass over very well. The $10/each speakers I used to replace my blown stockers actually work quite well though.

My factory cd player shows signs that it works but when i put a cd in it got stuck in there and partially sticking out.
I prefer the oldskool TapeDeck adapter, i find you still get better quality with that than using FM transmitter. my 6x9s in the back are good but my 5.24s? in the doors, you can hear the coils shake when attempting to do bass or high volume.

Lazy asses!! Get an aftermarket in there and stop relying on that dinosaur factory unit, you will be glad thereafter you did. I have mp3 discs burned and playing in mine so its really nice to not have to deal with the tempermental factory thing anymore.

Not until I can afford that beautiful AVIC Z110...So nice...So expensive...It's a good way down on my list of things for the car.

Re: How to get your frozen windows open again.

Its only the Mac Gyver way if theres a toothpick and some paper clips involved. I had a problem with water in my doors, so I bought waterproof marine speakers for replacement, cant say I regret that
