If the light flashes, you have a problem in the system. If it stays on, you probably have a bad connection somewhere. My light came back on and stayed on. I went back to the same yellow connector (under the kick panel) and squeezed it. The light went out. I put a plastic tie on it so it won't loosen up again. All is good. Check all your airbag connectors, take your time checking them.

If this message is reliable, it's a good troubleshooting. I m trying to help my friend to tackle down his SVX's airbag light stay on. Both of mine are good, the lights never blinks or stay on.

Anyone has the airbag system's electrical diagram? Did a search and didn't see anything.

It's very simple. There's very few connectors to eliminate poor connections.

Quote from the manual: ''The SRS system connectors use a double lock mechanism and a coupling error detection system. If the connector is not properly connected, the air bag warning light will illuminate on the instrument cluster.''
Correction: The airbag light does not flash. It either stays on for 7 seconds and goes out (SRS system OK) or it stays on (SRS system has a problem).
