Checking Timing Belt Marks???
I suspect that the SVX has a jumped timing. After open up the timing cover, I couldnt see any timing mark on the belt, they must faded away!
Anyway, how can I tell if the timing belt has jumped? Thanks

Did you rotate the engine to make sure they aren't in the wrong position to see them?

Yes, I rotate the engine using the crank pulley, I can see timing marks, but nothing on the belt(faded away).
Basically, how can I tell if I have a jumped timing without marks on the belt???

There are 53 teeth on the belt between both of the cam marks and the crank mark. Is this enough for you?

If you still have the rear belt covers in place, there is a ridge in the plastic that lines up with each cam pulley mark.
When the mark on the crank is at 12 o'clock, The Right cam pulley will have the mark at about 10 o'clock and the left will be at about 2 o'clock.

OK, looks like it line up with the marks, but not perfectly(half tooth off???). Got the OEM timing belt from thumper_svx(great help) and will install the OEM timing belt tomorrow. Will report back.

YOU'VE GOT A SLIPPED MARK!!!! Seriously, no... you're probably seeing a slight "misprint" of the lines on the timing belt. So long as all the marks seems off by the same amount in the same direction it's probably just a slight manufacturing defect. I've seen that a few times.
