Atf
I have a 1994 LSi, it says in the manual that it takes 10 quarts of ATF. I have changed the atf more than once and it DOES NOT take that much to fill.
Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help! mrsteve

The most you can get out on a drain and fill is 4 quarts as mentioned before. The other way to get more out is to either replace the internal filter, or just remove and clean it while it is out, and this will get more fluid out. Good luck. I usually change the fluid when I change the crankcase oil and this keeps it fairly fresh.

Yep, there is no way to drain the torque converter when draining the fluid...along with the lines will hold more than you can drain out.
