Lucas Engine / Manual tranny Treatment

I was in the auto store today and bought this Lucas oil additive product for the engine oil and manual gearboxes. It comes in synthetic or regular.

Does any one have experience with this Lucas additive? I was thinking of trying it since I and others have had success with the Lucas power steering and tranny additive.

I only have experience with the auto trans additive and I like the product. No problems here and it would definitely make me want to try another of their products as well...

i knew lucas from one of my friends. he told me that's a good stuff. i learned that that's really good for his engine that's some serious problems or burning oil off.

i read about this too from the internet. you may find lucas is really cool from the sample gearing set-up at the autozone or advanced auto. but i read it from a site that's lucas is good for the beginning but once the engine or transmission get hot or spinning faster. the lucas can foam up pretty good even with the good motor oil.

we don't want to see that happens in our motor or tranny.

let's see and discuss. anyone here heard or read about what i read?

My private garage and subaru dealer mechanics recommended it and I did try it on my 94 to avoid replacing rear main seal. It did improve the leak substantially but did not fix it and I eventually changed the seal.
