Question Power Windows Electrical Failure

For you Electrical Experts..............................

Periodically, ALL of my power windows stop working, either going up or down.

They resume working as fast as they have stopped. Usually when they stop working, it is only momentarily.

When this occurs, it occurs, it is for ALL windows, e.g. none work.

For anyone with an Electrical Diagram or knowledge, could you please point me in the direction of what to check for? What could be a "common feed or link" to all windows and where would it be located? Why would it go intermittant?

When the failure occurs, none of the driver's controls work. I yet to have it occur so I can check if the individual switches work when the driver's don't.

As always, many thanks for everyone's input and guidance!!

Electric windows

Unfortunately I don't have a diagram, however, if it is anything like the XT (which SVXs tend to be a lot like as far as these kind of issues) check your grounds in the door. The bolt tends to rust and get a bad connection. Right now for whatever reason my XT pass side window doesn't go up or down from the driver's control when the door is open.
