Zeitgeist

2 hours long. Get some popcorn.

Don't watch if you are sensitive about Jesus, 9/11, or the government in general.

Let's debate.

I'll start.

I believe (not) everything in this video to be true, though some quotes might not be word-for-word accurate.
Most of you and everyone you know can be bought off, and I mean everyone you know is easily corruptable, even myself to an extent, so it's not out of question or absurd to think power has easily and absolutely corrupted people in said power.

(expletive deleted)

Go.

No idea. Has to be fairly recent since they borrowed footage and dialogue from Loose Change for part 2, and they mention the NAU, which is a fairly recent development.

And to think as soon as I saw you posted here I was preparing my anti-tin foil hat response.

Now what will I do?

What do you mean fluff? I skipped straight to 7:45 and watched it from there as directed by the person I got the link from. I thought the astrology stuff was really interesting. Then again I'm kind of a nerd.

I have some issues with it. Some of the stuff in part one that is portrayed as factual is inaccurate. For example, Jesus being born on Dec 25. Which makes me untrusting of some of the other "facts" that I haven't checked. I am a bit leery of accepting or believing the verity of something as a whole if small, simple details are incorrect. I think I will watch it again and list out some more problems I think I found.

The stuff in parts II and III, I know much less about, but they lose some credibility in my opinion, because of the errors in Part I. This is not to say that parts II and III are incorrect, or that none of the parts of each part are correct or accurate, just that it is hard to sort out what is actually true and what they claim to be true.

Overall, I think it was a persuasive argument, and at points rather convincing. But not necessarily correct.

I'm tired and probably shouldn't be thinking this hard right now, or trying to think this hard. I hope what I am saying is clear or understood, whether or not it is believed. I am gonna watch it again sometime soon and bring up some more problems I had with the video, when it is fresher on my mind

I really know very little about any of this, most of it is new to me, so i cannot make any claim about it's authenticity, but I do think a few points may have been skewed to the advantage of the director. A few other may just be innaccurate, such as the Horus bit.

First post was mainly to get responses since my last thread died with like 2 posts.
Mission accomplished.

I see you folks have a thing or two to learn about hidden agendas.

I'm going to say that it was true at the time or I believed I was telling the truth. When I was at work today I thought about it and decided I really don't have the energy to get into a debate, so when I got back I took an onlookers objective.

What got me riled up last night was the concept of chipped passports and Real IDs and RFID chips and being tracked by the G. That stuff is shoved in your face at the end of the clip. I don't generally worry about the current state of affairs because I am not usually directly affected but I will not allow anyone to monitor my life, and you shouldn't either.

I do think that the RealIDs and RFID chips are on their way. The technology IS there, its just whether or not we will have to have them, or the technology is utilized or whatever. I think they already have chips available for your dogs.

I hope it doesn't become necessary to be "chipped." I don't wanna lose my privacy like that.

One of the points of the movie is that there was no real Jesus. Doesn't really matter when we or anyone before us claims he was born. If he never existed the point is moot.
